If you thought Art and Matilda were the perfect fit (and who didn’t?), wait til you see her in her new campaign with Jockey Underwear!
Clearly Art’s clean, lean, paleo lifestyle has rubbed off on this blonde bombshell, as she is just the perfect picture of a healthy lifestyle. It feels like a very natural relationship for Matilda, whose down to earth, comfortable and relaxed vibe aligns well with Kiwi favourite Jockey. I mean, find me another lingerie model who’s eating cupcakes for lunch!
On health and fitness, Matilda says she is really balanced – regularly working out but still indulging (as the cupcake attests), and incorporating exercise into catch ups with friends.
“I’ve always been passionate about wellbeing and fitness, but Art has been a great motivator for me. I used to occasionally get frustrated if I wasn’t looking a certain way after putting a whole heap of effort in to diet and exercise, but Art has helped me to realise that it isn’t about that – it’s about treating your body how it deserves to be treated with good food and moving your body. Plus it helps having someone beside you on a cold morning to push you out of bed!”
Art is a part owner of Clean Paleo – healthy, protein-based snacks and cereals which I’ve come to rely on (see recipes here and here), so of course Matilda’s healthy eating regime includes the Clean Paleo goodies (so why don’t I look like that?) – but she’s still a chocoholic at heart too. We also talked about sleep and stress – Matilda impressively balances a full time job on top of her ambassador roles – she says that while she’s pretty calm anyway, exercise really helps her to unwind.
Jockey’s athleisurewear is perfect then, versatile and stylish enough that you can wear it out for brunch and then for a walk up Mt Eden after.
Matilda says she jumped at the chance when Jockey approached her, and her Dad (who could forget Ken!) is on board and excited too – too cute. Art’s her biggest supporter, though, sharing the smoldering promo video of Matilda with his friends and simply stating:
Jockey are proud but I reckon I’m prouder.
